Pheo?: A pheochromocytoma is a tumor (usually benign) that makes adrenaline-like substances. Patients have episodes of pallor, sweating, headaches, palpitations, sometimes chest pain. The same kind of fight or flight symptoms one would get from a normal surge or adrenaline, but unprovoked. A blood test is needed to diagnose. Treatment is surgery.

? Thoracic outlet: Syndrome can cause similar symptoms where the blood flow feels more prominent in the face and neck. Any kind of obstruction to the outflow of blood from head, neck and arms can cause these symptoms- but these conditions are pretty rare. Agree with dr young, pheo can also cause such symptoms.
