See Below: There are no "best way"; it's all very person-specific. You need to try different things to see what works or maybe a combination of different things might work. You might want to re-evaluate things you can/cannot control and accept the one that you cannot control; practice stress management: exercise, relaxation, sleep hygiene, creating a routine to make your environment more predictable.

Many Options* Talk: About feelings ; address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ night. Daily physical activity is optimal in a green space. Eat healthfully. Cut out junk carbs, caffeine ; alcohol (or moderate). Try qi gong, tai chi, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, meditation, yoga, exercise program, deep breathing exercises or progressive muscle relaxation. Use of > 1 modality is best.
