I have pain and swelling on the pinkey side of my wrist. no trauma. hurts when i move it side to side, pain is more on under part and side of wrist.

Family practice : Probably is tendinitis or overuse syndrome. If antiinflammatories , and rest do not give relief then see your dr. A cortisone injection might help if there is no fracture.

Tendinitis?: Most common cause of wrist pain is trauma but you have no trauma.Other common cause at your age is inflammation on the tendons called tendinitis which will cause pain on moving your wrist and can cause swelling as well.Ouher causes are carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoarthritis, a ganglion cyst which does cause swelling as well .You should have it checked by your doctor to find the cause and treatment.
