Acetaminophen: Acetaminophen is considered safer in pregnancy than ibuprofen. It can be dangerous when taken in high doses. If it does not bring relief after 2 doses, you should contact your doctor.

Safest? Nothing: Taking nothing is the "safest". Tylenol, (acetaminophen) however, should be fine. Opioids are fine as well but may lead to a withdrawl syndrome in the baby after birth.
