Soon: Usually physical therapy is initiated early after the fracture is healed (sometimes even before complete healing). Most times at the 4 week mark after the injury.

Varies: Stiffness after a fracture can remain for a number of weeks to months. The amount of time depends on how much pt/ot one has done after the fracture has healed. A typical fracture takes at least 6 weeks to heal.
