Start slow: Yes but before you start a worrkout plan see your gp for a physical. Start slow and over time build up over time.

Workout: No, start slow. If you want to lose weight, then diet control is also important. Working out without proper diet control will not produce the results you want. Because of your previous ankle fracture, find a plan of action from your physical therapist on what steps to take next. If you haven't had a physical therapist evaluate you yet, get a referral (usually routine after ankle fracture).
