Depends on training: Muscles involved in endurance activities typically have more type ii slow twitch fibers, however depending on how one trains, the balance between type i and type ii fibers changes. Endurance building workouts and training will generate hypertrophy in the slow twitch type ii fibers, while pure strength building workout tends ot build more type i muscle tissue.
