Grand mal seizure: Seizures can be caused by a lack of sleep, hunger, poor nutrition and stress. It is important to live moderately and closely monitor your seizure medication. Seizures can occur after head injury but epilepsy is uncommon after head injury. Likewise, inherited seizures or epilepsy is very uncommon but is seen in some genetic disorders.
