Bonding too "thick!": A "thick" / "high" bonding can easily "throw off" your bite. In the "good old days, " silver mercury fillings were initially "soft" and tended to "self adjust" (or fracture) during the first few minutes after placement. However, bonded "white" fillings are immediately hardened by light. Often a patient's "numb'd" tooth won't indicate a correct bite. A quick bite adjustment is all you need!

Replace It.: When a molar is extracted and not replaced soon after, it will lean forward naturally to the space in front. Please have it replaced with a dental implant or a bridge. A missing tooth can cause many other problems to the surrounding teeth and your oral health can be compromised.
