Makes sense: The interior and exterior of the nose is innervated by the trigeminal nerve which also transmits sensation from the outer surface of the ear drum. So when you move the nose it is sensed by these branches and refers to the ear. It is unusual but makes sense. If it becomes more consistent then suggest good ENT exam to make sure nothing else is going on inside nose.
