STOP: Unless the person changes clothes and showers after every cigarette, your child is still at increased risk of complications of exposure to tobacco and it's hundreds of chemicals. Smoking is better in theory, but research still shows many of the bad effects of exposure, especially in children.

It is very difficult: The only and the best solution for everyone involved is the person to stop cigarrettes. Please talk to your provider and come up with concrete ways to stop cigarrettes. Cigarrettes are highly addictive and you will benefit by talking to your provider. The sooner the better.
