Don't treat labs: The labs are to help your physician identify disease. If you are running a low sodium level and do not know why, you have addison's until proved otherwise. It's not all that likely, but people do get it, and it does get missed. I won't trouble you with other possibilities, and if the value is only slightly below reference range (most-but-not-all healthy couch potatoes), you can ignore it.
