A member asked:

What diseases may cause to lower the blood sodium level and raise red blood cells?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Several: The first thing i think of with this combination is someone trying to lose weight using a diuretic, or an athlete who's rehydrated insufficiently using only water. There will be additional findings in any serious illness that runs with these labs. Pathologists are lab physicians and our first rule is, "look at the person, not the numbers." good luck.
