Reyes syndrome: Reyes syndrome is caused by giving Aspirin or othersalicylate drumsto a child who has a viral illness such as the flu. One can develop signs of liver failure, which consists of lethergy, vomiting, jaundice, which can cause seizures and eventually coma due high ammonia levels in the blood.
