A member asked:

Is it possible for someone who's been on ssris for long time to become too "happy" to the point of being foolhardy and gullible and too trusting?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

SSRI : Sometimes ssris can trigger an upswing in those who have a vulnerability for having bipolar disorder. These upswings can impair one's judgement, such as taking risks one shouldn't or ignoring serious problems. The treating doc should be alerted in those cases.
