Hair loss: Hair loss in a 13 year old can be due to hypothyroid condition, seborrhoic dermatitis , psoriasis or mechanical means. However themost common cause may alopecia areata, the cause of which is unknown. Make an appointment with a dermatologist for evaluation and possible therapy.
