How to prolong life expectancy in diabetic kidney transplant amputee?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Life for an amputee: The patient needs to be evaluated for arterial disease of his heart and brain. Peripheral artery disease (pad) is found system wide, not only in the legs. He should be scheduled for a stress echocardiogram to see if he has ischemic disease of his coronary arteries, if positive, angiography of his coronary vessels needs to be done. He also needs a carotid artery scan to see if he has disease there.
