Yes: Yes; an appropriate (but relatively strict) diet would have to be adhered to as recommended by your nephrologist. Exercise and hydration are equally important. Stage v renal disease, however is near " end-stage" and will likely progress into renal failure at some time. Peritoneal dialysis is an extremely appropriate, and oftentimes under used/recommended option, especially for younger patients l.
