See a doctor: Panic disorder is a serious problem. There are a variety of medicines that may help, as might counseling, herbal medicines, homeopathy and stress-reduction techniques. Please see a qualified practitioner to get the help you need- this is a difficult condition to self-treat. But one self-help technique that may help some is emotional freedom technique: http://www.Emofree.Com/.

Agree w Dr. Baker: If you can find a quiet place - do so. Breath in slowly ; deeply through your nostrils. Fill your lungs with air (but not to the point of discomfort). Hold for a count of five then slowly begin to exhale through an open mouth. Repeat at least 12 times, longer if you need to. Recommend evaluation by your physician for possible medical causes as well as working w a behavioral health provider!
