Husband has chf doctor says its caused by lungs not working properly due to weight on chest if he loses weight can it be reversed?

This sounds more : Like cor pulmonale or right heart failure...If high pulmonary pressures are causing this due to sleep apnea this is possibly reversible with significant weight loss and correction of sleep apnea.
