Yes: There are numerous minor salivary glands in the oral mucus membrane. They can regenerate, if removed.

Depends: Ask your surgeon since it depends on the type of original tissue, the extent of surgery, and the resultant tissue type (if adhesions = generally nothing original will grow back).
