Need more informatio: One or both hip? What position do you sleep when you wake up? Is it any position of jsut certain position. What time in the sleep cycle - at any time or more often only certain times, are your knees ok? - sometimes knee pain can radiate to the hip. You need to target where you feel the pian: in teh front? In the groin? In the back? On the side of the hip? This can help diagnose your pain.
