Call your OB: This is a wound dehiscence (split). Did it occur in the setting of trauma, bending or straining? If she has fever, pus or redness around the wound or severe abdominal pain (different from her c-sect pain) she should go immediately to the ed. Otherwise, call her OB and get seen very soon. If unable to get seen by ob, then go to the ed.
