C/S scar pain: Scars in the mid-abdomen (either vertical or horizontal) still have nerve fibers which stretch with movement, causing pain. This is not abnormal, but may continue. If the pain is more frequent, see your OB physician for an exam and possible remedies.

Evaluation: You can schedule a visit with your doctor to evaluate the c section scar. In rare cases endometriosis can appear inside of the c section scar. If the pain occurs with your period or if a painful lump can be felt inside of the scar this can be the issue. It is not common but it does happen
