I am not diabetic but was wondering why my blood sugar level would go down a couple of points after dinner only? too much protein?

Blood sugar lower: When you eat your healthy pancreas puts out insulin. Insulin leads to glucose in the blood being absorbed by the body's cells. Thus the blood sugar level drops with eating...Especially in the immediate period after eating. It does not usually stay dropped for very long if you eat a full meal.
