HIV and Health: This is a great question with a difficult answer. Hiv medications and HIV infection will lead to odd or unexpected lipids and triglycerides. The best answer in general is to make sure your liver is as healthy as possible and to really be strict in not eating more than 25% of your calories as carbs. Your diet should consist mostly of protein sources (60% of your calories).
