There are several: Treatment plans. A 2 week course has a slightly higher cure rate, but it depends on locality. And sometimes, you can't tolerate a 2 week course because these meds are hard on your stomach. Your doctor apparently feels that a 7 day course is long enough. If you are concerned, ask him why he chose this plan for you.
