Yes and no: Everything is at least partly genetic including alzheimer's. "familial" azheimer's exists but is uncommon compared with "sporadic, " the usual kind. Genes have been identified that increase the risk, but none raises the risk to 100%. A lot more will be learned about the disease's genetics in the years to come.

Some types yes: Alzheimer's disease with early onset at ages 40 to 60 has a large genetic component while alzheimer's with a late onset has a very small genetic component. This is an area of active research and more will be learned over the next decade.
