See below: This depends on the organ the cyst is in. I am assuming you're referring to ovarian cysts. If so they are more likely to be complex, with septations & nodules or solid component besides just the fluid component. This is similar to most other organs. Thyroid cysts, however are common and tend to bleed frequently, thus even if looking complex still more likely benign. Biopsy may be needed.
