Unlikely related: Antibiotics do not make teeth and gums sensitive. If you were having an allergic reaction, your gums might feel itchy but you would most likely have other allergic symptoms such as a rash and itching on other parts of your body as well. See your dentist for an evaluation or speak to your physician or whoever prescribed the penicillin for you.

Depends: Check with the doctor that gave you the penicillin, as there are basis questions: 1) is it really penicillin or another antibiotic? 2) are you allergic to whatever antibiotic that you were given? 3) are your gums sensitive because you have active bacteria around them?
