See an allergist : Your lip swelling may or may not be from an actual allergic reaction. Sometimes the condition can progress and cause swelling in the throat and block normal breathing. See your family doctor, internist or preferably an allergy/immunologist.

Swelling: Lip swelling can occur for many reasons including medicines, foods, familial and due to other medical conditions. See an allergist to help find the reason for the episodes and how to manage them.
