Lip swelling: Swelling of the lips, tongue and around the eyes is fairly common and called angioedema. This is similar to hives but a little deeper in the tissues and commonly occurs with hives. Treatment includes avoiding the trigger of the rash/swelling and antihistamines. An allergist can help identify the trigger and optimize treatment.
