Should be ok: A one-time dose of Lorazepam 2mg to an otherwise healthy individual is unlikely to cause any longterm problems. The most likely problems are the immediate ones that you experienced, namely the passing out and feeling strange. Usually the strange feeling won't last for several days, but nevertheless you should be okay going forward with the dosage you were given.

Possibly: 2 mg is a fairly substantial dose especially if you were not on it previously. Ativan (lorazepam) is a CNS depressant. It can be very sedating and slowed thinking which could last for a few days, but no permanent effects.
