How do you know if a person fell asleep or passed out unconscious after taking a 1st dose of lorazapam ?

Check breathing: If the person looks that they are breathing slower than usual or seem they are not breathing at all it could be an overdose and that person needs to go to the ed now. If that is the case call 911. Lorazepam can cause breathing failure especially if the person has taken a very high dose and has has been on it.
