Laceration: Keep the area clean and wash with an antibacterial soap apply a topical anti microbial ointment such as polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) or neosporin ointment. The area is very vascular and should heal up without problems. If there is redness spreading from the wound and and pus in the wound see your doctor for treatment. If you have not had a tetanus shot in the last 10 yrs see your doctor.
