Unlikely: You're too young to have cirrhosis of the liver yet but you could have alcoholic hepatitis and you're on your way to cirrhosis. From your question you've taken an important first step-recognizing you have a drinking problem. Now its time to ask for help from loved ones, clergy or alcoholics anonymous. Good luck to you.

CIRRHOSIS: Unlikely at your age although not unheard of. Most likely an alcoholic hepatitis. (inflamed liver) your pcp can do a lab test to diagnose called ggtp. If you cannot moderate your drinking seek treatment.
