My grandson is 3-1/2 years old with a wilms tumor and right kidney removed. chemotherapy and radiation are prescribed. is there an alternative? also, how do you get the body ready for it?

RENAL CARCINOMA: The oncologist knows what is best for him. He usually explains what are the needed treatment before starting chemo. Or radiation and the progression of the illness.

No: Before modern treatment, wilms tumor was invariably fatal. Period. Nowadays a majority of these kids get a cure. Speaks for itself. I would strongly discourage you from using any "alternative medicine" that makes any claim to affect the course of the disease except under the close supervision of a physician who really knows what's going on. Herbs / botanicals may offer some comfort but use wisely.
