BBT: To do basal body temperature charting you need to purchase a basal thermometer and check your temp the first thing when you get up in the morning even before going to the bathroom. The temperatures are recorded on a chart and they rise a few days after ovulation. Fyi- most fertility docs do not have their patients use this, but it is cheap and noninvasive.

Basal body temp: Checking yoru temperature with a basal body thermometer can help detect ovulation: consider getting a special thermometer at your pharmacy. Also consider using an ovulation predictor kit: it's easy to use, and is even more accurate in detecting ovulation.
