No problem: Young people have lower blood glucose levels, and the results above are not too low. I would not worry if they are above 60. Important question, why are they being checked? Does he have symptoms or diabetes? If not then i would not be checking blood glucose levels. If he has symptoms that could be hypoglycemia, then a glucose above 60 during symptoms would suggest something else is responsible.
