Same as adult: Fasting is 8-12 hours before a meal. Usually 65-99 mg/dl is normal. An after meal blood sugar of 160 mg/dl may be an issue if it is at least 2 hours following the meal, though 160 is certainly unusual for a child at any time. If you're using a home glucometer it may not be accurate. Please have your daughter see her doctor for a hba1c and lab fasting glucose. She may need an ogtt if unclear.
