Increase side effect: Increased side effects, like drowsiness, nervousness and heart problems. Remember xanax (alprazolam) is habit forming. It is always recommended that you use your medications as directed with your doctor. If the recommended dose is not resolving your problems then see your doctor for re-evaluation and adjustment of your therapy. Stay safe.
