Medication effects: I understand your need to have relief. Oxycodone is a narcotic for moderate to severe pain and is habit forming. Xanax (alprazolam) is for treatment of anxiety and can be habit forming. Using Xanax (alprazolam) with Oxycodone may increase dizziness, drowsiness, difficulty concentrating, impairment in thinking and judgment.
