See below.: Side effects most commonly encountered are diarrhea or loose bowels, gas and bloating, fungal or yeast infections, particularly in females and allergic reactions which manifest as itching, hives, swelling of tongue or throat and anaphylactic shock.

Depends: This would depend on which antibiotic you are taking and how your individual system handles it. Most side effects are minimal, maybe upset stomach. If you are having any itching, or hives call the dentist immediately. The pharmacist is a good person to talk to about any medications you are taking.

Usually none: For most individuals and for most antibiotics, there is little or no side effects but the benefits are profound. The most common side effect is GI upset or perhaps mild diarrhea. Occasionally patients may have an allergic reaction which usually manifests as itching and\or red blotches. If that happens stop immediately and call your doctor. Many other side effects possible although infrequent.
