Yes!: Congratulations! some babies are actually born with teeth already. Dip a clean wash cloth in ice water, wring it out and let your baby gnaw on it. It gives them lots of relief and is better than a medicine. Tylenol (acetaminophen) drops can work wonders, too. Ask your childs peditrician.

Early tooth eruption: Children can begin having their teeth come in anywhere from weeks after birth until they are a year old. Some children are even born with what are called natal teeth. It would not be unusual to see teeth this early. If you are concerned you should see a pedodontist who is a dentist that specializes in children.

Birth to 18 months: Teething can start at anytime. It is rare but some babies have teeth when born. You can also let your baby chew on a soft bristle tooth brush. Some parents have found camilia really aids in teething discomfort. Ibuprofen typically works better the acetaminophen. It is important you do not give your baby more than four doses of Acetaminophen per day. Ot could be other medical issues good luck.
