Depends: There may be a variety of symptoms, ranging from bone pain to fatigue to difficulty breathing. Consider seeing a palliative care specialist or enrolling in hospice. Aggressive symptom control (including pain control) will help her make the most of her symptoms, plus will help out with the support needed by you and your loved ones.
