Danger!!!: Please don't mix those meds . They are dangerous together and as you report the results can be unpredictable . Talk to your doctor about sleeping meds . Much better choices out there.

See Below: Mixing psychiatric meds and alcohol is not safe. If you have sleeping problems, see your doctor, get a sleep study done. Practice relaxation, stress management, meditation, exercise. Bottom line -- talk to your doctor and take things from there -- using alcohol as an additional medication is not safe.

Too much alcohol: It is thought that alcohol can scramble up sleep including the transitions between phases of sleep. The vodka has more alcohol and may aggressively scramble up the sleep as compared to wine. Additionally, the wine may have some tyramines and other compounds with potentially psychoactive potential that may be contributing. Stay safe!
