Hi i usually take 0,5mg of xanax slow release in the morning for anxiety,however my best friend is having a birthday dinner tomorrow. is it ok for me to drink a few glasses of wine (4/5)(in europe thats very low) tomorrow? so 30hours after xanax?

The time for 1/2 this drug to be metabolized/removed from your body is about 12 hours. By 30 hours less than 1/4 of the original dose would remain. A glass or 2 of whine over two hours would not be a risk, but I would not plan to drive if you drink at all.

No. Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it. It will destroy your brain cells, damage testicular cells that make testosterone, facilitate development of cancer in many organs, cause hepatitis, cirrhosis and pancreatitis etc. There is no safe level of alcohol intake. Quit while you are ahead.
