A member asked:

Is high blood pressure med make your blood sugar go low, i take 15gm of blood presure in the morning and little bet later my sugar is so low like 65?

Won't affect it: Blood pressure medication won't alter blood sugar unless you change your dietary intake, exercise or medication. A blood sugar of 65 is normal if you're not on diabetes medication that can lower it below normal.

Not usually: I'm not aware of any BP med that causes sugar to fall. Some make it rise a little. We could give youa better answer if you listed your BP med. I suspect something else is making your sugar fall and the timing is coincidence.
