A member asked:

Can you please tell me how high and low blood pressure and high and low blood sugar differ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Significant: High BP is when the pressure inside your arteries is too high - typically > 135/85, which can lead to stroke, heart attack and death. Low blood pressure is when the pressure is too low in the arteries. This can be caused by dehydration, anemia, medications, or infections. Either condition is serious and needs to be addressed.
