Try to even it out: It could take several more days of rest. It is always better to have a steady exercise program than to stop and then try to resume at the level you were prior to stopping. Better to resume at a lower level of intensity and build up gradually than injure yourself and add to the deconditioning time by being injured. No one thinks it can happen to them until it does.
